Rest. Restore. Rise. Return.
Renew: a Brave Widow® Retreat + Academy Graduation
June 28 - July 1, 2026 at the Running Y Resort in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
JOIN THE RETREATThere comes a point in widowhood where information isn’t enough.
You’ve read the books, gone to the groups, tried to “give it time.”
But you still wake up thinking, “I can’t stay here forever… I just don’t know how to move forward.”
Renew is a 3-day, in-person Brave Widow® retreat created to give you space to exhale, feel understood, and begin building a life you can actually look forward to again.
Surrounded by forests, lakes, and wide-open skies, you’ll be with widows who speak your “heart language” and a team that understands both grief and faith.
JOIN THE RETREATWho is this for?
This retreat is for you if…
- You feel lonely, “behind,” or like a shell of who you used to be.
- Time has passed, but you still feel stuck or directionless.
- You’re tired of being strong for everyone else and need a place to fall apart a little.
- You want community with other widows who “get it” without you having to explain.
- You’re ready to believe that God is not done writing your story.
If something in you whispers, “I need this,” Renew was designed with you in mind.

What you’ll experience
Over three days together you will:
- Rest your nervous system in a peaceful, faith-based environment
- Connect deeply with other widows through fireside gatherings, shared meals, and gentle conversations
- Process and reflect in guided sessions on identity, purpose, and what moving forward could look like
- Soak in beauty at places like Crater Lake that remind you there is still wonder in the world
- Celebrate hope during the Brave Widow® Academy graduation, seeing what’s possible in your own journey
You won’t be rushed. You won’t be pressured. You’ll be invited.
JOIN THE RETREATYou won’t arrive as a stranger
As soon as you register, you’ll be invited into a private Telegram group just for Renew attendees, plus live prep calls before the retreat where we will:
- Talk through what to wear and pack
- Cover travel and safety tips specific to widows traveling alone
- Help you prepare emotionally and spiritually for the experience
- Give you time to meet the other women so you arrive with familiar faces, not as “the new one”
By the time you set foot at Running Y, you’ll already have friends waiting for you.

Helpful Information
Air Travel
There are multiple airports accessible to and from the resort. Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR) is the closest airport to the resort and is located about 1.5 hours away.
Â
Primary AirportÂ
- Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR): The most convenient option, located in Medford, offering easy access to the city, Ashland, and Grants Pass.Â
- It is approximately a 1.5 hour drive to the resort from the airport
- Transportation will be available at limited times to bring you to the resort from the airport at no additional cost (we will do our best to coordinate all of the incoming/departing flight times and ensure you are taken care of)
- You may choose to rent a vehicle if you prefer to driveÂ
- Eugene Airport (EUG): Roughly a 2-hour drive north, often considered the closest alternative.
- Redding Airport (RDD): Approximately a 2-hour drive south in California.
- Portland International Airport (PDX): About a 4.5 to 5-hour drive north, offering more major flight options. Â
Â
Car Rental
There are several car rental companies at the airport. Be sure to give yourself some extra time if you choose to rent a car.
Â
Time Zone
Oregon is within the Pacific Time Zone, which may differ from your current time zone.  We have two tips to help beat jet lag! #1 Stay hydrated! #2 As tempting as it may be, avoid a nap the day you arrive and try and stay up until your normal bedtime.
Â
Weather
Early July in Klamath Falls usually brings sunny, beautiful summer weather with warm afternoons, cool evenings, and very little rain. Expect daytime temperatures near 80°F, with crisp mornings and nights in the 40s or 50s, so layering is ideal.
Â
Dress Code
For your wardrobe, consider lightweight fabrics like cotton or linen to keep cool. The dress code for the week will be casual, but for the evenings, think “low key resort chic”. A light cardigan is handy for evenings or breezy days.Â
