What the Scholarship Includes

If selected, you’ll receive a full 6‑month Brave Widow Academy + coaching package(valued at $5,000) at no cost:

• Weekly 2‑hour live group coaching calls
  Coaching, tools, and space to be honest about where you are. We meet once a week and set the tone for your entire week.

• Access to all 5 Brave Widow systems & curriculum (lifetime access)

  • Chaos to Calm Blueprint (routine, peace, and getting out of survival mode)
  • Self‑Trust System (rebuilding confidence in your own decisions)
  • Connection Protocol (how to meet people and make real friends again)
  • Discover Your Purpose Plan (finding meaning without pressure)
  • Move‑Forward Method (honoring your past while creating a future you can love)

• Private 1:1 messaging support (Mon–Fri)
  You can message me between calls when hard days hit. You are not doing this alone in the gaps.

• 3 private coaching calls
  For deeper support on anything that feels too personal or complex for the group.

All of this is fully covered by the scholarship. There is no tuition cost to you if you’re selected.

Who This Scholarship Is For

This is for you if:

• You’re a widow or widower who feels stuck in grief, guilt, or loneliness
• You’ve tried things like therapy, support groups, or books, but still feel lost or alone
• You’re emotionally ready to work on healing and rebuilding, but finances are the main barrier
• You’re willing to:
  • Show up to weekly calls (or watch replays)
  • Try new tools and complete simple homework
  • Be honest, kind, and supportive in the group
  • Share a testimonial if you get results (only what you’re comfortable sharing)

This is not about having the “saddest story.” It’s about making sure the scholarship goes to someone who will truly use it.

How the Scholarship Works

1. Apply online
   Fill out the scholarship application honestly and in detail. It usually takes about 10–15 minutes. Your answers help me understand your story and whether the Academy is the right fit.

2. Application window
   For this round, applications are open until January 2 at 11:59 pm Central.
   (If you’re reading this later, check the form for current dates.)

3. Selection & notification
   I’ll review all applications prayerfully and carefully, then select one primary scholarship recipient for this round. You’ll be notified by email the following week.

4. Program start date
   The next Brave Widow Academy cohort begins Thursday, January 22, meeting weekly from 12–2 pm Central for 6 months.

Referral Scholarships

If you know another widow who would be a great fit but can’t afford it:

• Invite her to apply and have her list your name as the person who referred her.
• If she is awarded the scholarship, you will also receive:
  • A full scholarship to Brave Widow Academy, or
  • If you’re already an Academy member, an extension in the alumni group at no cost (funded by the scholarship).

You can increase both of your chances simply by sharing the application link with widows who need it.

What I Ask of Scholarship Recipients

If you’re chosen, here’s what I lovingly expect:

• Show up live as often as you reasonably can
• Watch replays when you miss a call
• Do the worksheets and try the tools
• Reach out when you’re struggling instead of disappearing
• Share an honest testimonial if the Academy helps you

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be willing.
